Fear and stress are the human body’s natural response to potential threats. Anxiety is fear and stress that is disproportionate to the situation. It’s a feeling of constant worry, nervousness, unease, or fear. Anxiety has both mental (worry and rumination) and physical (fight-or-flight) symptoms.
